Whether your event is about brainstorming, productivity and achieving goals or about celebration, laughter and dancing, we have helped countless clients successfully bring their visions to life. Leo James
Founder, Techtonic Events

Leo James grew up in Santa Cruz, CA. He attended Sonoma State University for Communications and later earned a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Sound Arts at Expression College for the Digital Arts in Emeryville, CA. While still in college, he began working as an Audio Visual technician, providing lighting, sound and video for corporate events and conventions at large, up-scale venues in San Francisco and the East Bay.

 

In 2012, he was hired as Director of Event Technology at CordeValle Resort in San Martin. After a few years in this position, he moved to Sonoma County to take the position of Director of Audio Visual Services at the prestigious Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley, and later at Meritage Resort in Napa, CA. During those years, Leo provided seamless AV event support for politicians, celebrities and Fortune 500 companies such as Apple, AT&T and Google. He also began to DJ at local bars and nightclubs as a creative outlet for his passion for music. 

In 2014 Leo founded Techtonic Events. Leo is customer-focused and takes pride in the care and high level of collaboration he provides each client, earning numerous 5-star reviews for his services. He currently lives in Santa Rosa, CA with his wife, daughter and son. When he is not working, he loves being outside, fishing, camping, snowboarding and mountain biking.
